“Mr. Football nominee Rashid Sesay” has a nice sound to it.

@WestMSports senior @RashidSesay6 was one of Ohio’s best this season and this recent announcement of Sesay as an Ohio Mr. Football Finalist (by the OPSWA) is just further proof.

The MVL single-season record holder for touchdowns (42) was a wrecking ball in all 3 phases of the game. Check these regular season stats… Over 1,000 rushing yards (10+ yards per carry) with 27 rushing TDs. 454 receiving yards with 8 TDs. In the words of L.V. Miles “And he can paaaasss!” with a couple passing TDs for good measure. We’re not done though. He also returned a pair of kickoffs for TDs, made 55 tackles and had a pick six to highlight his all-around contributions. He also owns school records for career rushing TDs (40), career receiving TDs (19) and total career TDs (63). He finished with 2,356 career rushing yards, 7.2 yards per carry, and 1,430 receiving yards.
