@MelGardner33@Transgendertrd You meant the opposite? Big burly blokes hang around outside the boys’ loo and chat them up as they go in and out? Excellent plan. Perhaps they would understand better after that.
@sd4995100 @thegaywhostrayd @againstgrmrs@AndriaDont99498 As a girl born 70 yrs ago who loved fashion from toddler days, and who wore jeans and T-shirts and hoodies and Converse high tops marketed exclusively to boys, I shudder to think how girls presenting in this way are treated today. Fashion and comfort choices, not gender identity.
@krzysztofwos@Colin_P_A_Jones We married in Japan in 1980. At that time Japan didn’t require any documents from me. We simply filed the kekkon todoke form at our local kuyakusho. In fact I wasn’t even present as we couldn’t find a parking spot. I stayed in the car whilst J husband handed over the form.
@retirejapan_OG A friend’s son was beat up at school by a gang of boys. When she took him to a clinic, they asked how/when/where regarding the injuries. When she answered truthfully that he had been injured by other boys at school, they told her national health insurance could not be used.
@GaijinMommy Diagnosed as allergic to penicillin, and was treated appropriately for that and the cough, but nobody I told about the breast touching aspect reacted with the outrage I expected. This was 1975-ish. Guess it was not unusual in those days??/
@GaijinMommy I was shocked. Developed a rash soon after over my entire body, and made my way back to Kyoto the following day where I saw my usual lovely GP/3
@RaraSensei Never mind the time slip element, smells very right wing-y to start publicly promoting the idea of doubting the intentions of those who are not Nihonjin. Part of a global phenomenon of planting seeds…
@DavidMcNeill3 ¥6000 seems excessive! Based on personal experience, Kanpouyaku doesn’t work unless raised with East Asian heritage traditions, but best of luck to you!
