@geminitays @RenQued a pc at most. hosting minecraft servers would actually be more harmful to the environment than the average gen ai model (technical term would be machine learning/deep learning/large language model though) so i agree with op that people who dont know any better immediately ++

@buildinbl0cks i definitely agree with you on it's little trade off, especially with the great cast of ccs we have! i do also much prefer the natural interactions between them but at the end of the day it's their content and we can each decide whether or not we agree with it ^^ ++

@buildinbl0cks @ethogirl01 i'd like to add chatgpt likely uses multiple servers to host its information, which are the ones that are negative to the environment due to the amount of power + water used to cool them. smaller ones can simply use the local device storage to keep these information!

@buildinbl0cks @ethogirl01 it knows is limited to the world of misadventures. models like these are leagues less harmful than chatgpt and the like, and theres tons of research studies using these generative deep learning models if youd like to know more about them ^^
