Inaugurated five Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations; the first such EV charging infrastructure in Ladakh, marking a historic milestone in our journey towards clean energy, sustainable mobility, and protection of our fragile Himalayan ecosystem.

Located at Main Bus Stand Leh, Tia Rong, Solar Colony, Chuchot Shamma, and Khaltsi, these charging stations are equipped with fast charging technology, enabling EVs to charge up to 80% in less than one hour.

Aligned with the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji’s vision of Carbon Neutral Ladakh, this initiative reflects our unwavering commitment to reducing dependence on fossil fuels and safeguarding Ladakh’s pristine environment.

Together, these charging stations will form the foundation of a comprehensive EV charging network across Ladakh, facilitating the growing adoption of electric vehicles and protecting Ladakh’s fragile ecosystem.

It’s been almost a month since the issue of salary delay of Water Testing Laboratories Staff Leh came to your notice last time and even after meeting you regarding the same, there is no assurance from our PHE management. Requesting you to kindly look into this.

@ashishkundra I would like clarify that arranged Fund of ₹60Lac was credited under Support head of JJM Leh and Laboratories have their own head “WQMIS”. Thus we are denied with salaries authorisation bill process stating salaries for manpower under WQMIS cannot be pay via Support head.

@ashishkundra No Sir! Actually we hoped our salaries would be release before Eid, but we were told that fund of 60Lac is arranged from Kargil 10 days ago but there is no sign of actual fact on the ground thus delaying our salaries since 6 month now almost.
