so.... pkd has hung my machine multiple times a day (10.15.4 on a 2019 mac pro). i now have a script which kills the pkd process every 60 seconds.

every time i install an update on my rMBP w/ touch bar, it has disk failures until i try it 7 times.

i'm fairly sure that nobody at @apple uses the photos app to actually organize their photos. Manually sorting photos is an absolute pain - buggy at best. Crashing and losing changes is normalcy.
