@thecakelin Powecom KN95s have been independently tested to ~99% filtration efficiency, and they also fit my face better than any N95 that I've tried. I passed a qualitative fit test in the Powecoms but not in an Aura, so this sh*t annoys the f*ck out of me.
@anon_opin I think the production values on Mezzanine still blow everything away that's being made today. It's not even a matter of "good for the time" - it's like nobody ever caught up to what they were doing.
@THELUOK I think they're both amazing systems, but the SNES put out several of the greatest JRPGS of literally all-time that push it over the edge. Without those games, I'd probably agree with you.
@12thLord@normal_regimiro I've lived with several in the past few years who have explictly said that they were doing it to save on money. And even if they're moving in by necessity, it doesn't change the fact that living with roommates does not mean "living alone but with other people in my way".
@IAMNOBODI That's what people don't get. It takes time and attention to "knit" parts of your experience together to feel meaningful. This is why everyone has 20/20 hindsight nostalgia. It's taken many years to stitch parts of past decades together to give them an atmosphere/vibe.
@Ruleof2Review I was also a Blockbuster employee, and... honestly, Blockbuster sucked. I more-or-less agree with your sentiment though, except I want a world where we let ten thousand independent video stores bloom.
