The South African government says it will act if xenophobic attacks continue as more protests are planned against undocumented migrants.
Al Jazeera’s Haru Mutasa reports.
Is Hon. John Musila justified in calling on Ugandans to turn against South Africans and their businesses in Uganda over the reported attacks on Ugandans in South Africa, including the murder of his nephew? Or does such rhetoric risk fueling retaliation against innocent people and businesses with no connection to those crimes?
JUNE 30 PROTESTS | Professor Alex van den Heever of Wits School of Governance says a large part of the protests is not about foreign migrants, but rather a form of political marketing.
Governance expert Alex van den Heever says grievances used to justify anti-illegal immigration protests are “manufactured”. He argues that South Africa’s real crisis is corruption, failing governance and collapsing public services, not foreign nationals.

This is very disturbing! Many black South Africans don't see this. They miss so many hints that this country is being colonised right under their nose.
Do you know what is sad and scary? Other African countries won't help us with this war that is brewing right now!
