Give a toddler the choice:

Butter vs margarine: They choose butter
Bacon vs oatmeal: They choose bacon
Eggs vs cereal: They choose eggs

They haven't been indoctrinated yet.

Their biology recognizes optimal fuel.

Then we spend the next 18 years forcing them to override their instincts with "eat your vegetables" and "whole grains are healthy."

We're not teaching nutrition.

We're teaching them to ignore their body's signals in favor of dietary propaganda.

By adulthood, they've completely lost the ability to recognize what their body actually needs.

Children eating to appetite naturally limit carbohydrates and prioritize fat and protein.

Adults following guidelines become metabolically broken.

Trust the toddler. Not the dietitian.
