Prostate cancer w/ Paneth cell-like cells often shows nests or single cells but does not usually follow the aggressive clinical course of Gleason 5 cancer. The recommendation is to not grade these areas. Also note it could be negative for prostate markers. #GUpath

This stool ("stool") sample for an O&P was just thin mucous flecks. Trichrome showed only specks we assumed were white blood cells. But really it was nothing but huge numbers of Giardia trophozoites 😱😱

For a lab to conclusively detect beta-lactamase in Staphylococcus spp. this is the zone-edge test (aka "sandy beach test").
