This stool ("stool") sample for an O&P was just thin mucous flecks. Trichrome showed only specks we assumed were white blood cells. But really it was nothing but huge numbers of Giardia trophozoites 😱😱

This gastric polyp from a patient with the PTEN hamartoma/Cowden syndrome looks similar to a gastric juvenile polyp but less like a sporadic gastric hyperplastic polyp - correlation with additional studies is always indicated.
