I feel like my brain is racing. I have a million thoughts and it's not calming down. I'm fun to chat with since I have less of a filter. Tho I won't be able to sleep. If anything bad happens, it'll hit hard. I also realized I forgot my anxiety medicine for the first time in ages.

@Ophibell From what I can tell, you're on a good path. Got away from the retail life and now you're impacting a lot more lives for the better. It looks like you love your current job which is great! Take a break if you need it though. You know yourself best. I'm cheering for you!

@XRAY32P Someone I looked up to as an artist would tear my art apart without asking if it was okay to critique it first. Wouldn't always be good advice but vague like, "Do better." Then, "If you can't take unsolicited advice then don't be an artist." I stopped posting art for a while.

@MayflyMayDie @XRAY32P Proving someone wrong is always a good motivator lol. I went into the I.T. field because an ex-friend took advice for building a computer from a guy she barely knew over me since, "Guys are better at this." She paid at least $300 more for crappier parts.

@superscarydemon @XRAY32P This hit home. Mine said, "You...didn't color it? That would have been easy tho..." It was meant to be in black and white. I printed it out on fancy paper. Best drawing I did up to that point. She was also an artist and loved doing 'unrequested critique'. Tore it, and me, apart.

@geordenwhitman I already read things about Monty after his passing, and was skeptical in the first place. I do still value some people there. You had it rough. I hope you're doing better. Your words at the end of your writing were truly inspiring. I feel inspired to be creative :)

@geordenwhitman I went to a RTX panel one year and asked, "Do you use 3Ds max at all?" since that was what I knew well. I was talked down too. Like I hit a sore spot. Looks like it was used in later shows though. I decided an animation job there, with that person, wouldn't be worth it.

@ChilledChaos When it come to stuff like that. No means no. Explanation not needed. It's not that difficult to understand that, "It makes them uncomfortable"

@Breadcrumbs1783 @eddyrivas I think about that every now and then when I'm driving. All this speed/power and a sneeze or a yawn could become destructive if I'm not careful.

@ChristalRaine I had a dream my brother was hit by a white semi-truck. I told him about it before he left. Later on he said he avoided a white semi-truck that ran a red light. He was extra aware of them after what I said.

Gifted my friend FFXIV without knowing about the new expansion. Luckily got in a few hours this morning before taking a break. Then we were number 3k+ in the queue before the game kicked us out completely. We'll try again tomorrow!

@Ophibell Spruce up that resume and send a few out. You might be surprised by who bites and then end up with a better job. Go into it with the idea that it's interview experience. I was told this when I was hesitant on applying to new jobs. I get too comfy in bad situations sometimes.

@Ophibell I've made one true friend. The others just become acquaintances. I've been in many friend groups and I'd hang out if asked. Yet there's only one person that really gets me. Even if we don't hang out for months, it's like we never had that pause when we speak again. So, can relate
