Skincare? In this economy? The economy is not smiling, but your skin doesn’t have to suffer because of it. 😂
These are my recommendations for super affordable skincare.
1. Face wash
If you see it anywhere in your apartment, treat as a health emergency. It is a silent killer.
I once ignored it & after weeks - caught a resp infection.
Check for roof or plumbing leaks. Your walls might be wet.
Cross ventilate always. Use extractors in kitchen & bathrooms.
Step #1: Optimize Your Profile
Switch to a business account, use keywords in your bio, and add a professional profile picture. Your profile is your first impression!
Step #2: Create Click-Worthy Pins
High-quality visuals and attention-grabbing titles are key
Use tools like Canva to design pins that stand out.
Step #3: Leverage Affiliate Marketing

Just be transparent by adding disclaimers like "#ad" or "#affiliate."
Step #4: Sell Digital Products
E-books, templates, or courses
Upload pins that lead to your online store or sales page.

Pinterest is a search engine!

Start Pinning and Start Earning!
Consistency is key!
Pin regularly to keep your content visible and relevant.
I'm putting a guide together, will drop it soon.
Since you all are interested
I import using
- 1688
- Pinduodo
- Taobao
But I mainly focus on 1688
The app have started introducing English unlike before when you’d have to translate..
They’ve also started shipping directly to your door step, tried it with a very small item
But to be safe as well as cost effective, you’d need a shipping company where your goods can be sent to in China then they will ship it to Nigeria..
That’s how I bring in my goods…
Before, you’d need to have an Alipay account for payment but now, the app now accept bank transfers or pay directly with your card..
I use Alipay
Onesie of thumb I do when ordering
- I pay attention to the years of the merchant ( if they are certified)
- I am not interested in the e cheapest but I go for the middle
- Reviews, very important, most times I prioritize reviews, other times, I try my luck
- 1688 is way cheaper than even TEMU
I have gotten a lot of items from this app since 2024 that I have been shopping..
I did not pay anyone to teach me or buy on my behalf, all these information I needed even down to choosing the shipping combo have been using since 2024 has been online, just took my time to research
Lastly, once you start, there’s no going back cause they are a whole lot of items, I mean a WHOle lot
Lastly, if you are looking to starting a business and you need items, this is the best place..
You can buy from 1 - thousands on this app
There are sellers that have MOq while a lot don’t, even if it’s 1, you’d get it.
Even our dining table was gotten from this app, and atm, I have gotten a couple of dining tables and chairs for few friends and family..
Hope this helps.

I was supposed to have at least 78 million naira from my mutual fund investment in 10 years, but I decided to make it 145 million naira by raising my monthly investment from 50,000 naira to 100,000 naira.
You all remember how I started this.
30,000 naira monthly in 2018. I increased it to 50,000 naira in 2023. So far I have deposited about 3.5 million naira and I currently have almost 5 million naira sitting in that account from interest alone. The interest has already exceeded what I put in.
I raised my monthly contribution from 50,000 to 100,000 naira. At that rate, in 12 years I will be looking at approximately 145 million naira. Most of it being interest I never worked for.
Why am I telling you this?
Because I started this with what most people waste. That 30,000 naira I committed to in 2018 was a small, quiet decision that nobody clapped for. Today it is compounding into something that will change my life permanently.
You still have time. Whatever amount you can start with today, start. Compound interest does not care how small you begin. It only cares that you begin.
The only investment you will regret is the one you never made.
Above all, love God.
Most people judge clothes on Temu by the photos.
Big mistake.
The fastest way to avoid buying clothes that feel like cheap plastic is to ignore the pictures and read the Fabric Composition.
Here's a simple cheat sheet:
Avoid (unless blended well)
• 100% Polyester
• 95% Polyester, 5% Spandex
• Cheap synthetic blends
Run away.
These are usually thin, shiny, trap heat, build static, and often feel like swimwear instead of actual clothing.
Look for
• Modal (extremely soft)
• Combed Cotton
• Ring-Spun Cotton
• 100% Cotton
• Viscose/Rayon (soft and smooth)
If you're shopping for specific items:
Jeans:
Search "100% Cotton Denim", "Heavyweight Denim", or "Rigid Denim".
Dress shirts:
Search "Oxford Cotton", "Cotton Poplin", or "100% Cotton Dress Shirt".
Jackets:
Search "Heavyweight", "Fleece Lined", or "Wool Blend".
Vintage clothes:
Look for Corduroy, Heavy Knit, or Washed Cotton.
One last trick that saves me money every time:
Never trust the product photos.
Go straight to the reviews, filter by "With Photos", and look at pictures uploaded by real buyers. That's where you'll see what the fabric actually looks and feels like.
Also look out for promos, you can get stuff for cheap and free packages for a cheap price.
Hope this helps once you understand your size, body, texture or material you're good.

I applied to a remote job platform two weeks ago to see if it actually hires Nigerian Customer Service Representatives.
I got a response.
I also referred someone a week ago. She got a response and has already done her interview. 🤭
The platform is called Influx, they hire remote customer support agents globally and Nigeria is eligible.
Here are the open roles right now 👇
Most people still think Pinterest is just an app for saving outfit ideas, recipes, wallpapers and aesthetics
Meanwhile, there are people quietly making money from it every single day without showing their face, talking on camera or becoming influencers without competition.
And the crazy part is that most of them have very small audiences.
The reason is simple:
Pinterest is not really social media. It works more like a search engine.
People go on Pinterest already looking for ideas, products, inspiration and solutions.
That means the traffic is valuable because people are actively searching, not just randomly scrolling.
The first step is choosing a niche properly. Don’t post random content. Pinterest rewards accounts that are clear and focused.
Pick something people already spend money or attention on like fashion, fitness, business, productivity, beauty, finance, wellness, travel or lifestyle content. Then narrow it down further so Pinterest understands exactly who your content is for.
After that, create a Pinterest business account instead of a personal one.
This gives you access to analytics so you can track which pins are getting impressions, clicks and saves.
Your profile, board names and descriptions should also contain keywords related to your niche because Pinterest uses keywords heavily to understand your content.
Now for the money part.
One of the easiest ways beginners monetize Pinterest is through affiliate marketing.
This means promoting products or services using special links that pay you commission when someone buys through them. You do not need your own product. For example, someone in the productivity niche can promote planners, apps, desk accessories or online tools.
Someone in fashion can promote outfits or accessories. When people click and buy, commissions start coming in.
Another huge method is selling digital products. This is where many faceless creators make serious money because digital products can be sold repeatedly without inventory or shipping.
Things like ebooks, templates, guides, planners, spreadsheets, journals and Canva templates perform really well on Pinterest because people already go there searching for ideas and resources.
Pins themselves are extremely important because they are what people actually click on.
A pin is basically a clickable graphic. Your goal is not just to make it pretty, but to make people curious enough to click.
Titles matter a lot.
Something like “10 side hustles you can start from your phone” will usually perform better than vague titles because it immediately promises value.
Most successful Pinterest creators post fresh pins consistently instead of relying on one viral post. You can even create multiple pins around the same topic using different headlines and designs.
That’s how many people scale their traffic.
Pinterest growth is slower than TikTok at first, but the difference is longevity. A TikTok post may die in days. A Pinterest pin can continue getting traffic for months or even years because people keep searching for the topic.
That’s why i call it quiet money.
You don’t need to show your face. You don’t need thousands of followers. You just need searchable content, consistency and a way to monetize the traffic properly.
How to Sort Every NGX Stock Into Two Piles.
Pile One: Stocks that will likely make you money.
Pile Two: Stocks that will likely cost you money.
Most Nigerian investors cannot do this because nobody taught them the method. The method is not complicated. It just requires knowing what to look at.
This thread teaches you. Save it before your next trade.

Let me put you on to something (update) that can genuinely change your financial life for good.
Go to the App Store or Google Play Store and download any of these language learning apps: Duolingo, Babbel, or Busuu.
Pick one language and commit to it. French, German, Spanish, or Portuguese. Study consistently for 6 to 12 months, then sit the official certification exam for your chosen language.
- For French, that is the DELF/DALF exam.
- For German, it is the Goethe-Zertifikat.
- For Spanish, it is the DELE.
- For Portuguese, it is the CELPE-Bras.
These certificates are internationally recognized and that is what employers actually want to see.
Once you are certified, start applying. Here is where to look:
The United Nations Careers Portal (https://t.co/yhE1JecxDm) hires Translators, Interpreters, Language Editors, and Verbatim Reporters. These are mostly onsite roles in New York, Geneva, Vienna, or Nairobi. Entry-level salary starts around $60,000 to $80,000 per year.
The French, German, or Spanish Embassies in your country regularly hire Local Staff Interpreters, Cultural Program Officers, and Administrative Officers who are bilingual. These are onsite roles paying roughly $30,000 to $60,000 per year depending on country.
The European Union Careers Portal (https://t.co/nRbtXcVLUL) recruits Linguists, Translators, and Conference Interpreters. Mostly onsite in Brussels or Luxembourg. Starting salary ranges from €4,000 to €8,000 per month.
Platforms like ProZ, Upwork, and TransPerfect hire freelance Translators and Remote Interpreters. These are fully remote. Rates run between $25 and $60 per hour depending on your language pair and experience.
The African Development Bank, World Bank, and IMF also regularly post roles for Language Officers and Regional Interpreters, especially for French and Portuguese speakers across Africa.
One language. 6 to 12 months. A globally recognized certificate. That is all it takes to unlock doors that most people do not even know exist.
The information is free. The choice is yours.
Above all, love God.
