@CoolieVan@wayne_m159 The new 4 cylinder sounds terrible, but it goes.
That V6 was all sound with zero fury.
My 21 TRD Pro was a 6 speed, which was very necessary because it had such little power that you need to constantly rev it to get it to go.
It took about 6 months for my dealer to get one.
That is actually the fault of Toyota archaic ordering process.
The regional distributor decides what’s good for the region and orders them, your dealer can only match what the regional distributor have ordered.
So it’s essentially a negative feedback loop of regional distributor not ordering it, causing dealer to not able to match what customer wants.
TLDR, you cannot order a Toyota the same way you can order any other car.
@Motor1com@Automotive_News Honda is not Toyota, where you can still buy manual Taco's, no way they are bringing the manual back.
Just look at the sorry Prelude with PRNDFTL.
Ordered replacement slider switch, noticed that Kitchenaid changed the material, presumably for better durability.
Installed the new slider switches and got the vent with 1200 glorious CFM operational.😎
Wife is again impressed.
New switches did not fix the issue, still would not turn off.
I noticed during cleaning that these slider switch are supposed to operate fan speed and power of both motors (dual switches for dual motors) and confirmed with wiring diagram.
And as you can see, they are missing tabs that operate the second motors.
We cook a lot, and we rely on the 1200CFM vent to keep our house smoke free, so when the vent won’t turn off, I figured it’s probably the internal switches. Ordered a few of them and tried putting them in.
@JUN_JUN_3DCAD My premium for 996 GT2 went down when I got married.
So at least for me it’s true, but I have also heard from many insurance agents that it is so.
