If I was diagnosed with High Blood Pressure, and my doctor was considering prescribing me a medication (my nightmare to be on a prescription!)— then providing it wasn't an emergency high blood pressure, I would be focusing on the following 5 things:
1. Is the doctor getting accurate readings?
I'd be measuring at home too
2. Am I unusually stressed about anything?
30-60 minutes daily on a stress-relieving activity
3. Am I walking enough?
Sure, track your steps if it helps. 10K a day
4. Am I protecting my quality sleep?
This is a hidden cause for millions of people having elevated BP
5. Am I Insulin Resistant?
If so, I'd immediately get to work on this, primarily naturally losing body fat and building up some muscle mass
Here's my video explaining what I'd be doing in more detail: https://t.co/uQuQrFg2yD
My goal (and maybe yours is too) to avoid ever being dependent on a prescription drug if it can be avoided!
NHC ramped up the development probabilities to 40% on the central Atlantic wave. ECMWF members look like they really want to develop this wave rapidly around Labor Day as its coming hrough the Lesser Antilles so it needs to be watched. @weathermodels_
