He was in the Final Four last year, joined Dean Smith and Bob Knight as the only coaches under 40 to make 3 Elite Eights, and won more games in his first 4 years than anyone. The power brokers at Duke are smart enough to know how good he is.

Duke has lost in agonizing fashion, true, but they've given much more evidence that they're adapting better to the new reality.
