Meet Justin Mader! Justin has been a NACE Member for 8 years and currently serves as the Kansas State Director on the NACE Board. By Justin's 2nd year of college, he was inspired to pursue a career in engineering by the big equipment used in engineering (but unfortunately the biggest thing he gets to drive now is his computer mouse!) One of Justin's favorite aspects of his job is the diversity. Every day is different than the last. Justin, thanks for all you do for NACE! #Volunteer #CountyEngineers #CareerinEngineering
NACE Western Region Vice-President Matt Machado joined NACE and @NACoTweets members from across the country to voice the county message as Congress formulates the next Surface Transportation Reauthoirization which is set to expire next year.
Meet the Member Monday!
John Mark Davis has been a member of NACE for over 22 years. John Mark didn't start out as an engineering major. After receiving a degree in teaching and working with students, he realized he needed to use his skills in a different way. He went back to college and got his degree in civil and has loved it ever since.
His favorite thing about NACE - Networking with engineers all over the country bringing ideas back to his home county. John Mark has been chairing the NACE Awards Committee and enjoys seeing all of the accomplishments of our members.

We're proud to share a word from our Titanium Member, J-Band
Drivers are distracted, making centerline rumble strips a much-needed safety addition to roads. Watch how one Illinois county was able to use HSIP funding and an innovative asphalt technology to preserve this essential feature. https://t.co/hyD5hnbbBx #AsphaltTechnology #CountyEngineers #CountyRoads

NACE congratulates and applauds the confirmation of Sean McMaster as Administrator of the @USDOTFHWA . The nation's local road professionals look forward to working with him to ensure our nation's road and bridge infrastructure remains safe and secure.
NACE President Jacob Thorius attended a @USDOT stakeholders meeting in Washington D.C. last week. Pictured here with @USDOTFHWA Administrator Nominee Sean McMaster, we look forward to working with the @WhiteHouse@POTUS and @SecDuffy to assist their vision of a golden age of transportation.
At the @NACoTweets Annual Conference, NACE President Jacob Thorius provided NACo’s Transportation Policy Steering Committee an update on NACE priorities and joint advocacy efforts as we look to next year’s surface transportation reauthorization.
NACE is grateful for our all of our corporate members. Today, we'd like to thank our Titanium members - Dynamic Infrastructure and JBand for their continued support of the organization and providing products and services that support our members and help keep our roads, bridges, and infrastructure safe. #countyengineers #countyroads #infrastructure #asphalt #technology
On Tuesday, NACE Secretary-Treasurer Wayne Sandberg was joined by Minnesota County Engineers Association President Lyndon Robjent and others from across the state in honoring @HighwayPolk County Engineer Rich Sanders, who was awarded NACE's Rural County Engineer of the Year Award this past April. Presented during the County's Board of Commissioners Meeting, Board Chairman Holy and Commissioners Strandell, Reese, Lee and Willhite joined those in attendence in celebrating Sanders on this prestigious national honor.
NACE Executive Director Kevan Stone participated in Woodacres Elementary School's annual Career Day, detailing the work he and NACE members do across the country for their communities. While, shockingly, not one student in any of the four 4th grade classes said they wanted to be an Association Executive Director, many expressed an interest in engineering! Shown with Stone is his daughter, Charlotte, who assisted Dad with visual road and vehicular displays. It just so happens to be her birthday today as well. Happy Birthday Charlotte!
