TCSMS PBL: We are investigating the Abbasid Empire/Tang Dynasty shipwreck off Belitung Island, Indonesia. We started creating examples of Changsha ware since 60,000 pieces were found in the wreck.
TCSMS ASTRONOMY: We are learning about solar system exploration and started to create our cardboard models

TCSMS PBL: Today we went to Indonesia 🇮🇩 to get a better look at The Belitung shipwreck
On this date in the history of my classroom..
TCSMS PBL: New shipwreck to investigate- the ninth century Belitung wreck. While the ship is new to us, sustained inquiry continues with reading, annotations and class discussions.
TCSMS GAME DESIGN: Gladiator Foosball, Pop a Shot are two the game in a box designs being built. Oh, we always try to end the day with a couple games of chess.

The planning day allowed me to set up our ship bulletin board made out of a bunch of ships with chart paper sails. The kids will add all of the written material this week.
TCSMS PBL: I had a planning day, before the second nine weeks begins tomorrow, so I set up our shipwreck map with our first six ships. The kids will help with the next six wrecks.
