@WabanoHealth Indigenous Service's Canada's website still claims a processing time of 1 year, or 2 years for complex cases. If this was ever accurate, it hasn't been since COVID. My friend's application took 6 years to be approved.

Don't pretend you're better.

@WabanoHealth Wabano has no moral high ground in pretend it protects Indigenous persons and their health any better than the settlers.

But you should know better. Taking away a doctor providing active care and follow up is despicable, when your patients have no way to get their status faster.
