I’ve had hearing loss for years; recently grown intolerable & pandemic showed me how much I relied on lip-reading to understand speech.Turns out I have severe hearing loss in both ears #otosclerosis. I’m wondering if any other musicians have had a #stapedectomy & their results.

@cjm_bklyn I loved that store. I remember distinctly the white haired droopy guy (I would later see him at the west side diner at 107) and the countertenor who knew all about early music.
