@alfit_d Aw thanks Bestie! I’m having a lay in before going to visit my Nan I think? Sadly not doing many of my favourite things because no pubs open bol! Sure I’ll have fun though! Mum says we’ll open my card when I’m finally up bol!
@alfit_d So glad it got there and you love it Bestie - Mum had a Christmas card last year she loved so much she checked the website... and bought loads! We quite like the idea in these crazy times that it gives you something to do as well bol!
@Rafi_the_BT @Ruben_te_Brake Yes, my family just don’t do things by half so I had to be different bol! It was a lot and I wasn’t right for about two weeks but been fine since. I feel sorry for those that have them often even if not for long?!
@Ruben_te_Brake @Rafi_the_BT Bol! You’re probably right pal! Glad to hear your hoos know how to comfort you. Mine helped too; makes the world of difference doesn’t it?!
@Ruben_te_Brake @Rafi_the_BT I think everything they do tastes good! I had 10 episodes in 14 hours but never anything since. Like my family I don’t do ‘normal’ Bol! 🤣 Glad to hear you’re doing well too 👍🏻
@Ruben_te_Brake @Rafi_the_BT Wow, yes that might make a difference then! I get runny if I eat something that doesn’t agree with me. Chicken does it almost every time! Hate that cos I love it but Mum makes up for it with other treats and food like venison so I feel special bol!
@Rafi_the_BT Heat could easily be a factor but we think gluten free is more healthy and less waste. Plus Feelwells have won ethical awards & as BT owners Mum loves them! Have a word with @Feelwells; sure they can help you? Feel better soon pal 👍🏻
@Rafi_the_BT Well I’m on Feelwells grain free. They do wet food, dry kibble complete food and cold pressed dry kibble which is the closest to raw you can get in kibble I think? @Alfie_BT is one of their 4 BTs so they know all about us. Their treats are fab & delicious too!
@Rafi_the_BT So now they make sure I’m never allowed to feel a chill. They changed my food to gluten free and found my poos halved so I’m still gluten free cos while they don’t know if that was it they don’t want to waste money and make my poos bigger Bol!! Hope you have no more episodes!
@Rafi_the_BT Glad to hear it! Another good tip is to keep a diary. Make a list of ‘normal’ foods and activities and then record anything each day out of routine. If an episode happens you can check back and see if anything shows up. We think mine was triggered by cold...
@Rafi_the_BT But regardless I hope you feel better very soon and the vet is nice to you; helps you and maybe gives you a treat to help you feel better!
@Rafi_the_BT Canine Epiloid Cramping Syndrome. They have lots of advice but also in the files a really good doc to print & take to the vets. You see, not all vets know about it much. CECS can be triggered by diet, stress, heat or cold, so any of these might set you off for free 1st time?
