Seems Arsenal have picked Bradley Barcola as the marquee signing for that left wing. Are Arsenal in too much haste? Maybe they should wait for A Big Opportunity to land a Big Star Like VINICIUS Jnr from Madrid. Because The jury is still out on Barcola, whether he is actually an upgrade over Martinelli. #arsenal #barcola #arteta #martinelli #coyg #vinijnr

There is something we all need to be reminded of—Kano is not a state for only its indigenous people. It is a state for everyone. The Almighty strategically positioned Kano ahead of many of its peers, in history, economy, and education. Kano is not just a regional (northern) powerhouse, but a national and even continental center of influence.
It is always baffling to see some of our people label others as “enemies of Kano” simply for holding different views or perspectives on certain issues. States like Kano or Lagos are naturally magnets of national attention. Discussions about them will always cut across tribes, regions and political affiliations. Participation in those discussions doesn’t make anyone an enemy.
Those working with or supporting the Kano state government must understand the distinction between being a supporter of the government and a supporter of the state.
One can disagree with a policy or criticize a government program and still be a proud supporter of Kano. Loving Kano doesn’t mean blind loyalty to every decision made by those in power.
We should grow beyond this narrow mindset. Loving Kano means protecting its image and Kano is bigger than any administration. Kano is a legacy, a vision, and a home for all.
@ABBAMEADDA @BashirAhmaad No doubt, Col. Was was a great man and administrator.
If he only spent more time on earth.
My Dad was appointed Military Governor after Wase passed on.
@BashirAhmaad My grandfather actually served as a Police officer in the high court in Kano State when my Dad was a teenager, and years after, my Dad returned back to Kano as the Brigade Commander in Kano 4 years before the became Military Governor of Kano Sate.
