Hey @BorisJohnson, thought I’d do a survey to help you read the room.

Should Stanley Johnson (Boris Johnson’s father) receive a knighthood?
Please retweet once you answer so that we can get as many responses as possible
Biggest mistake UK made (& continues to make) is seeing COVID like flu that will become seasonal & come back each winter rather than like SARS to push to eliminate. Aside from lives & NHS strain, economy & children are paying an unacceptably high cost for this approach.
@BBCWalesNews There are lots of things that are closed that would help with mental and physical health why should garden centres be any different? Also a lot of the people that frequent them are in the at risk category
@jasperjimmy1@CatharineHoey It should come down to what is essential. DIY stores do sell essential things people would need to repair their homes etc. What is essential about being able to buy a begonia??
@SkyNews Garden Centres are in no way essential! Their main income at this time of year is gifts and Christmas decorations! They should be closed like other non essential retail.
@luton_paul@SkyNews Um no they are partly outdoors but they have large indoor areas that sell gifts, Xmas decs etc. They are the areas which people are shopping at the moment not the outdoor section!
@HTAnews Garden Centres are in no way essential! Also the average age of people who visit them are the people most at risk. They should be closed like other non essential retail.
