i love you all.
today was a weird experience in many ways. but one unexpected one is that it has been sorta like reading your own eulogy while you’re still alive. the outpouring of love is awesome.
one takeaway: go tell your friends how great you think they are.
Every city should have a place where you can go to feel really small in the grander scheme of things.
Like Mumbai has the sea. You stare into the enormity of the water body, thousand ton ships being tossed around like twigs, you realise you are small.
Delhi has history. You go visit a monument, a Purana Kila which is 500 yrs old, and you realise no power, wealth is permanent. The passage of time is enormous and we are merely a blip.
Bangalore has a Nandi Hill, and the queue at CTR, both make you feel small and unimportant :)
