On July 13, as part of the Changwon Memories Project, representatives of 🇻🇳 DORANVNFans and 💙 로던 (Hosted by @A_Rosy_Dawn) attended the Scholarship Award Ceremony and Commemorative Tree Planting Ceremony at Nam Changwon High School—the alma mater of Choi Hyeon-jun (Doran).
🌟 Changwon Memories Project – All For Him
A collaborative project by DORANVNFans and 로던 (a community of Korean and international fans brought together through the fansite A_Rosy_Dawn).
Project Activities
📍 Nam Changwon High School
- Donation of a ₩5,000,000 scholarship
- Commemorative tree planting on campus
(Jointly organized by DORANVNFans & 로던)
📍 Children's Homes in Changwon & Busan: Donation of ₩7,500,000 for essential supplies
(Organized by 로던)
📚 The ₩5,000,000 scholarship was made possible by Doran's fans, inspired by the Doran Scholarship that Choi Hyeon-jun established for his high school in 2022, following the very first LCK championship of his career.
We hope this scholarship will encourage and support the students of Nam Changwon High School—the younger generation who are working hard every day to pursue their own dreams.
🌲 We also planted a pine tree in the name of Choi Hyeon-jun (Doran). This tree is a gift dedicated to Doran, his teachers, and the students of Nam Changwon High School. At the same time, it serves as a lasting reminder of an alumnus who continues to make his school proud.
We chose a pine tree because it symbolizes resilience, perseverance, peace, and good fortune.
Our message to Doran is:
"May you always stand strong like a pine tree—remaining true to yourself through every season and every storm. May your path ahead always be filled with light, and may you continue to grow taller, reaching toward new horizons beneath the warm sunshine."
Just as this pine tree will continue to grow year after year, we hope Doran's story will continue to reach even greater heights.
💙 In addition, 로던 donated ₩7.5 million through the international relief and development NGO Global Share to support two children's homes in Busan and Changwon. The donation provided essential supplies, including new shoes, food, electric fans, refrigerators, and sterilizers for the children.
Although we come from different countries, we share the same inspiration: to turn our love and support for Doran into meaningful actions that create a positive impact on the community.
We hope the Changwon Memories Project will become more than just a commemorative project. We hope it will leave a lasting legacy—continuing to spread the kindness, generosity, and positive influence that Doran has inspired in all of us.
