Goku voice actor Masako Nozawa says she's NEVER thought Goku was getting too strong, despite him continuing to reach new levels of power throughout 'DRAGON BALL'!

Koichi Yamadera: "In the original 'DRAGON BALL,' Goku kept getting stronger and stronger, didn't he? Just when you think he's reached his peak, he becomes a Super Saiyan, then Super Saiyan 2, Super Saiyan 3, and eventually even a Super Saiyan God. There are so many different versions of Goku. And then, later on, they tell you there's an even stronger Goku, right? Do you approach the role by thinking Goku is the strongest he can be at that moment, without considering that he'll get even stronger later?"

Masako Nozawa: "That's right. I always give it my all."

Yamadera: "But even after you've given it your all, they tell you he'll get even stronger, right?"

Nozawa: "They tell you that a few years later, don't they? And I think, 'Oh, really?'"

Yamadera: "Don't you ever think, 'Enough already'?"

Nozawa: "I never think that."

Yamadera: "So you just think, 'I'll keep doing it'?"

Nozawa: "Yes, 'Okay, I'll do it!'"

Yamadera: "That's amazing. If it were someone else, I think they'd say, 'Well, if I'd known that, I would've held back a little,' or 'He's getting too strong! Give it a rest!'"

Nozawa: "One thing I've definitely noticed is how my stance changes when I perform the Kamehameha. At first, my feet were relatively close together when I performed it, but as Goku got stronger, my stance gradually widened."

Yamadera: "Ah, I see! Your stance naturally got wider!"

Nozawa: "That's right."

Yamadera: "That's amazing. Still, I'm surprised the staff can keep making such demands without hesitation."

Nozawa: "They do it almost every time!"

Yamadera: "The staff believes there are no limits to what Masako can do, and you take that for granted, too."

Nozawa: "From the perspective of those listening, maybe there were limits. But as far as I was concerned, there weren't."

Yamadera: "At first, Goku was strong in the martial arts tournament. Then he became the strongest on Earth, then the strongest in the universe, and now there are other universes, too. You'd think they'd expanded the scope of things too far, but he just keeps evolving. There's no one else in human history who could do something like this except Masako Nozawa."
