I know a lot of you are confused about FRAUDOR posting about Minji’s birthday, but the short and simple answer is this: Minji is still technically under contract with ADOR, so any public activities, including fan interactions, would realistically still fall under the company’s supervision or approval.

FRAUDOR posting photos related to Minji’s birthday (which, notably, were mostly photos of the cookies and gift preparations for Bunnies rather than recent photos of Minji herself) doesn’t really confirm or deny anything. ADOR still hasn’t made any official announcement regarding Minji’s status or return.

If you think about it, the company easily could’ve posted recent studio photos, filming photos, or other official images of Minji if they had access to them and wanted to use them. But they didn’t. That’s what makes the situation interesting. Korea has fairly strict portrait and publicity rights, but entertainment companies are generally given broad freedom to use photos of their artists when those photos are taken under official schedules or company activities.

So the fact that they only posted limited materials, and not an actual recent photo of Minji herself, could suggest that either:

1. they don’t currently have recent official photos of her, or
2. they don’t have full access or freedom to use them right now.

At this point, it honestly seems possible that the only materials they had were the photos Minji personally submitted in order to get approval to interact with Bunnies and visit birthday cafés.

Practically, Minji’s status with ADOR is still extremely vague. Until something official is announced, everything else is just speculation.
