Once they're registered as asylum seekers, when it comes to jobs, they won't be classified as foreigners anymore. They'll be treated as South Africans and compete with South Africans for employment. We already have high unemployment rate in SA.
They'll receive SASSA grants that are meant for struggling South Africans. At public Clinics and Hospitals they will be prioritized. Public Schools will be full, your South African kids won't have spaces. You will have to fight for space with a terrorist sorry I mean with a refugee.
This is invasion. Many will only see it late.
This article is doing the opposite of what it was intended to do. So you’re telling me that Jacinita is willing lose her contracts with the government because of her love for this country? What a leader. 🤍🇿🇦👏🏾
So, if I understand the department correctly, anyone anywhere in the world can apply online for asylum, get a receipt, land at OR Tambo and be protected from arrest? What checks happen before entry? How will abuse be prevented? Where is the critical thinking here?
Why are they pushing so hard for this asylum seeker process. Have you ever seen government so eager to deliver a service like this? Now they are putting an online system, within a month! Kanti who is putting pressure on them??
@JacintaNgobese@Rowiaza My mom is a teacher & she’s been trying to help one of her students (a SA citizen) with obtaining an ID. Kid has been taken from pillar to post. Undergone DNA tests & still no ID document..a future delayed by @HomeAffairsSA while they service illegals.
So when the online application opens please can ALL South Africans who don’t have IDs be ready with their asylum names and if you know someone who doesn’t have one APPLY for them as an Asylum seeker and they can even use that permit to get jobs, run a business and get grants 🤞🏻🇿🇦
I want every South African to go on this website and submit their dogs, cows, cats, pigs, rabbit, fishes and etc names. Make sure the system crashes.
This is pure kak!!!!
Yhoo! I just had a lightbulb moment! 💡 I kept asking myself, of all the applications foreigners can make, why was asylum specifically the one the @ConCourtSA ruling addressed?
Then it hit me! General work and business visas take approximately 8 weeks, critical skills visas 4 weeks, and permanent residence can take 8 months or longer. But asylum appeals? No fixed decision deadline, with backlogs dating back to 2008!
An initial asylum application can drag on for years, and if rejected, applicants can appeal, potentially adding YEARS to the process. Meanwhile, they may hold permits allowing them to remain in the country while awaiting a final decision.
Meaning, if South Africans want these people out of our country, how do we do that when they could remain here for years while their applications and appeals are pending?
And this is precisely why I question the decision to specifically include asylum seekers. How utterly unpatriotic can this government be?
@ConCourtSA@GovernmentZA@MYANC@Leon_Schreib@HomeAffairsSA@CyrilRamaphosa 💔💔💔💔 🇿🇦
Our government can track R100 entering your account and cancel your SASSA grant🤣🤣BUT MILLIONS AND BILLIONS OF RANDS CAN MOVE AROUND AMONGST POLITICIANS AND SUDDENLY NOBODY KNOWS ANYTHING.
What hurts me a lot is that we have a serious crisis in the country right now
And some people just want to talk about football and music 😭😭😭
Like bro catch the wake up
Foreigners are invading our country
