Dry with the humour. Lover of deeper footy analysis and stats. For my sanity, I'm a bit too liberal with the block button
What I love about this goal is that EVERYONE saw it cause the haters were on edge watching every single one of our games so they saw the absolute joy and immediately turned off their televisions. 😂 My favourite moment from last season, without a doubt. Amazing to witness. ✨
I remember when Lampard moved to New York City FC and right after, joined Man City on loan.
It was before Arsenal faced City in the Community Shield in 2014.
Wenger said at the; “He went to New York first, and the shortest way (from Chelsea) to Manchester is not to travel to New York first. If you look at a map, there is a shorter way.”
Man City owns New York City FC.
That club.
Wenger said it at the time that were gaming the system.
Between 2008 and January 2014, Arsenal spent £11m net on transfers while Man City spent more than £500m net on transfers.
How could Arsenal have competed?
Arsene Wenger on Arsenal's money situation: "We're blocked, we could only spend 50% of turn over on wages. We had to sell our best players"
Then Manchester City were inflating revenue upto £900m to build a team & win on the pitch under Pep Guardiola & co.
Seriously though, if they’re willing to cook the books for £900m worth of inflated sponsorships, what else were they willing to do to get an edge? I’d be interested in an investigation into the Premier League Refs that do exhibition games over in Abu Dhabi.
This is one of the most beautiful gestures in football I have ever seen.
Right before full-time, Turkish side Konyaspor announces their friendly match vs Palestine has been postponed until… Palestine is free
Back in 2014, there was a man who was already aware of the irregularities involving Manchester City. That man now runs FIFA. The infamous Gianni Infantino, then UEFA General Secretary, abused his authority, shared confidential documents and, in short, outmanoeuvred the Investigatory Chamber, doing everything in his power to ensure that both Manchester City and PSG would merely receive a fine, avoiding a deeper investigation that could have led to a Champions League ban. All of these details were also revealed through Football Leaks.
Given his actions as UEFA General Secretary and, more recently, as FIFA President, I can only say, in my humble opinion, that Gianni Infantino has become a cancer on football and should have no place in the future of the game.
The year is 2021, the world is in an economic crisis due to Covid -19. Sham City casually post a club record total revenue of… wait for it.. £569.8m beating a PRE- COVID record of £532.2m.
See how years of fraud allowed them to do this with assets. They fully mocked it.
Gary Neville & Jamie Carragher complained more about Nicolas Jover standing in the technical area for set pieces than they have about Manchester City being found guilty of 114 financial breaches, by the way. It should tell you everything you need to know.
John obi Mikel on Arsenal Corners
"I wouldn't recognise Arsenal as winners!"
"For me, they've cheated their way to winning the Premier League!"
John obi Mikel on Man City’s 114 Charges
’I WOULDN’T WANT IT’
“I’m not about to discredit what Manchester City’s players achieved on the pitch”
This is Crazy 🤣
When I wrote about this image rights sham for The Independent in 2018, Manchester City threatened to sue us and demanded I tweet out a personal apology on here. We fought them. They did not sue us.
City's sham is confirmed by the Premier League today https://t.co/Fzemh3f8CA
Umrholo that never realistically makes it past a week after the dust has settled. That can never be normal, regardless of your level of financial discipline.
