Hard to stomach being on this site any longer considering what it's become. Blue Sky seems the place to be, so follow me over there - https://t.co/5DEJNglr3e
Can’t stop thinking about how Wall Street is celebrating Elon Musk becoming the world’s first trillionaire, while he single handedly eliminated humanitarian aid that will lead to the needless deaths of 4.5 million of the poorest children in the world in the next 4 years.
@_Ventfull_@GunnerJoe18@linkfives You're simply not going to find a player good enough for Arsenal that is found through data and zero scouting. Anyone that good is going to already be at a decent club.
@gunnerpunner He has been one of our best players since we bought him. Do we really think he's going to drop off that much in one season? Do we want Leo at 90 or even 80% of his current level, or do we want €20m? I know what I'm taking.
Incredible - dramatic improvements in air quality in London are linked to a measurable impact on Londoners' health:
9.3% drop in heart-related emergency admissions
5.1% drop in hospital admissions of all illnesses and health conditions
Cleaning up our air protects our future.
Elon Musk can say what he likes about me but I won't stay silent whilst foreign tech billionaires, money earned off the backs of real workers, try to interfere in our democracy, incite violence in our communities and tear apart our country.
Time for him to pipe down.
@JLYucel@focaldataHQ That's an incredibly misleading headline. You're claiming to listen to what Brits actually believe and when that data tells you the majority think affordability is the issue, you ignore them and claim that they want more homes.
@rcolvile do you have any writing on this? Thinking about it more, it makes even less sense, as homes completed is the very last step in a years-long process. Surely if that was responding to transaction vol. it would lag by at least a year or two?
@scottjwillis Seems like a big improvement since he joined Bayern. Does that tell us something about the quality of defending/goalkeeping in that league?
These reactions make no sense, and neither did Burnham's reluctance to admit he will launch a leadership challenge if he wins Makerfield.
We all know he will, so do Labour MPs. Are we all just meant to play along in this dumb show?
BREAKING: Andy Burnham has announced he will challenge Keir Starmer for the Labour leadership if he wins the Makerfield by-election.
Labour figures already fuming. Could this backfire?
Labour MP texts: ‘There’s no way I’m going to Makerfield now, good luck to the whips!’
Labour source texts: ‘Andy Burnham ran for leader in 2010 and lost. He ran for leader in 2015 and lost. He has spent the last two years undermining this Labour government at every opportunity in pursuit of his goal of becoming Labour leader. To suggest he’s only running because of Wes is an insult to everyone with a modicum of intelligence.’

@_jkpnro sounds like you're running too fast. If your target is 5k, for example, force yourself to run much slower than you can, until you can do 5k without any major effort. THEN, think about pace and slowly going harder and quicker.
