If I've unfollowed or blocked you, chances are you put me on a list or train. I vet people who I follow. Occasionally one of these people will get through. I can't tell you how unimaginative and desperate it looks and how sickening it is to keep getting notifications because someone mentioned you in a post. Oftentimes, those posts are just a bunch of mentions. If you crave attention, buy a puppy.
@jaiswal_adt Imagine how many Americans were taken out of the workforce by H1B workers who got their jobs because they were paid a third of what American workers were paid. We voted for this.
I do. The battle is never over. By the way, I criticize tyranny wherever I see it. Nothing would make me happier than to see your country become free. That's going to have to take a change in thinking however. Seeing yourselves as subjects rather than citizens keeps you in the mire.
@Bevcota@JustinThurber22 Thank you. We're having a standout in Dighton on Saturday the 17th from 930-11. Center and 138.
On the 19th, we're holding a fundraiser for him. Join us and bring your friends.
@JustinThurber22 as long as the democrats have a monopoly on power in this state, we will suffer under such hypocrisy. I'll work hard to get you re-elected.
Good morning to everyone in Massachusetts who is wondering where their Fair Share is actually going.
On March 18th, State Rep Justin Thurber delivered his inaugural speech at the Massachusetts State House in support of Amendment 43, βMaking Fair Share Equal for All Massachusetts Residents.β
The idea was simple. Take at least $100 million each year from surplus Fair Share surtax revenue and send it directly back to every city and town across the Commonwealth on a per capita basis. That would come out to roughly $600,000 per legislative district, with the funding split evenly between education and transportation.
Instead of money being concentrated in a few areas, every community would have seen direct support to help with local schools and infrastructure.
The amendment failed along party lines, 25 to 128.
Residents were told the Fair Share tax would support education and transportation. This was a chance to make sure every community actually saw those benefits.
This is exactly why it matters who represents you at the State House. Communities need state representatives who are willing to support proposals like this and make sure funding actually reaches every city and town.
Where is your Fair Share?
@Arkypatriot My dad, WW2 veteran, would dump Corn Flakes into his coffee and swill it down before work. Mom made hot dogs and potatoes, cut up, fried in butter from a cast iron pan. I'd kill for a helping of that nowadays.
