@PaulTweetsRIP Because they heavily upgraded at Saftey and Dline and DJ Turner and Dax Hill are way better than you probably think. (Trey barely played last year also)
I'm so excited for the Jets offense
QB: Geno Smith
RB: Breece Hall
WR: Garrett Wilson
WR: Omar Cooper Jr
WR: Adonai Mitchell
TE: Kenyon Sadiq
TE: Mason Taylor
If Geno Smith plays anything like he did in Seattle, the Jets can be in the hunt for a playoff spot
75% of the people on here don’t comprehend the impact DJ Reader had on the Bengals’ scheme, so they sure as hell won’t understand the even bigger impact Dexter Lawrence could have.
@Marcus_Mosher Wow. It's wild how people thought it would be upwards of $35M per. And he was SO upset with his deal with the Giants, and signs for $28M added on to an already sub-market deal?
Have to stop prematurely aging players.
Dexter Lawrence is 28 years old. He won't turn 29 until Nov. 12 which is past the halfway point of the regular season.
The 2026 season should be considered his Age-28 season.
Have read some articles/posts describing him as "approaching 30", and well, congrats on describing how aging works, but it's a sloppy description of his age rooted in bad faith to malign the trade.
Here’s the thing:
The 10th pick sounds great until you’re looking at a board with Sonny Styles, David Bailey, Rueben Bain Jr, and Arvell Reese off the board.
BPA on defense now becomes Caleb Downs (if he’s there) and Mansoor Delane — Dexter Lawrence impacts the game more.
Bengals starting DLine in 2025:
LE: Myles Murphy (best player)
DT: TJ Slayton
DT: BJ Hill
RE: Joseph Ossai
Bengals starting Dline in 2026
LE: Myles Murphy (arguably 4th best)
DT: Dexter Lawrence
DT: Jonathon Allen
RE: Boye Mafe
What a dream offseason for the #bengals
Jeremiyah Love is a good fit for the Titans but a suboptimal draft pick.
Tyjae Spears and Tony Pollard are fine.
Wan’Dale Robinson as your WR1 for a developing QB isn’t.
Simple Bengals free agency plan
1. Sign or trade for 1 high impact defensive lineman (edge or interior). This is the biggest offseason splash they should make
2. Sign a starting caliber saftey
3. Resign Dalton Risner
4. Sign a veteran linebacker to mentor young LBs
