@htomufc I agree with everything you’ve said but we also need another striker. It’s a long shot but I wouldn’t completely rule out us going for Kane after the World Cup. He’s got 1 year left on his Bayern contract and this could be his last chance to win the PL and beat Shearer’s record

@PlanetFPLHunter VVD’s legs are gone, he can’t defend 1 on 1 like he used to. Even Friday night, you could’ve left him 1 on 1 with Watkins in the past and he’d mop everything up on his own but he can’t do that anymore. Alonso will do well at Chelsea with 1 game a week, he’ll get them in the top 4

@FPL_TomHadley Any other season I wouldn’t have bothered as they definitely weren’t worth using transfers on but the really late wildcard meant I could hide them in 37 & 38

@Ricey_17 @TheExiledRobin @BenCrellin There’s definitely a bit of that too but you need exceptional options like O’Reilly for it to even be a conversation. They need to price the DEFCON defenders much higher than the full backs to make them options again. Nobody is going for Truffert at the same price as Senesi

@Ricey_17 @TheExiledRobin @BenCrellin Bit of both as at the start of the season Anderson was regularly hitting 11 DEFCON and not getting the extra points. Ultimately, people fell in love with FPL for goals and assists, not counting DEFCON
