The T&F Team has arrived safely in Tokyo and we're making the final checks to welcome everyone who will soon be joining us in the Land of the Rising Sun 🇯🇵
@AthleticsWeekly Her time would have won the first London Men’s Marathon in 1981 by nearly 2 minutes and 1984 by 1 second
She would have been close in
1982 - Hugh Jones win 2:09:24
1983 - Mike Gratton win 2:09:43
1984 - Charlie Spedding win2:09:57
So True from Anna Cockrell, Women’s 400 Hurdles SM. ‘Go girl get in that therapist’s office ..I’d go to therapy for a second .. I’m cured ..that’s not how things work .. progress comes from therapy when not in crisis anymore. See 1:58 in

Imagine the chance to share the Gold Medal with your New Zealand opponent but decide you want to go to a jump off, for the NZ guy to win. Had he shared the G the USA would also be top of the medal table on Gs won. Karma. In Tokyo Tamberi & Barshim gladly shared the G in the s/evt
Really wanted to hire bikes in Paris for the week we are here but somewhat pricey compared to car hire. Fortunately a metro card for the same period for two is €140
Paul O'Donovan and Fintan McCarthy step into history with back to back Olympic golds.
O'Donovan is the first Irish athlete to win medals at three different Olympics.
He is Ireland's greatest ever Olympian.
Ireland's 5th medal of the Games, 2nd gold, and we're not even halfway
“My goal is for her to run 48-something and I believe (that) will get a medal in Paris.
"We’re not there yet. There’s more work to do.”

Been saying this for years but puzzled looks come my way, especially if mentioned in the context of Transformation. I believe it would be transformative given we successfully delivered a psychodynamically informed, ADH, 5 days a week, for > 10 years until it was closed in 2000
I would like to bring back Acute Day Hospitals - basically a combination of a psychodynamic TC, an acute hospital and a day centre. They had better evidence than acute at least in terms of equal on symptoms, better on satisfaction and some therapeutic work was actually done.
A real privilege to work with Tom and see some of the work that goes in behind the scenes. Hopefully this gives a bit of insight into the highs and lows of elite sport 🏊♂️🇬🇧
British Swimming to hold emergency meeting in London this afternoon to decide whether to cancel Olympic trials due to get underway tomorrow after an outbreak of cryptosporidiosis. 'White Rabbit' crisis talks to consider options

MH services have been decimated for a decade. Deliberate systemic deprivation is ignored when tragedies occur. Blame is conveniently directed to overwhelmed local MH services. Compassion is replaced by fear & this has a further detrimental impact on both patients & staff.
Spoiler alert: won't be racing in Paris. I gave EVERYTHING but today it wasn't enough. Sport be like that sometimes.
So grateful for this journey - two World Champs is beyond my wildest dreams as a kid
THANK YOU TEAM - you know who you are ❤️
Next race: Rottnest channel swim👀🇦🇺
Lovely frosty run this am, until rudely interrupted by a cyclist who tried to go straight through me rather than use the 2 metres of path on his right . I had to step on the Tram track to avoid him & then hear his fading diatribe about getting in his way. Someone must love him
