Abiy’s obsession with sea access keeps growing, now wrapped in "international business norms" and barter trade fantasies—as if we’re back in ancient times before money existed.

🔹 Reality Check:

The world buys Ethiopian Airlines tickets in dollars, not in “give and take” deals.

Ethiopia already pays billions to Djibouti for port services. Why not negotiate better terms there?

Oh wait—Djibouti even offered Ethiopia an independently managed port, but Abiy never responded.

So, what’s the real agenda? It’s not about ports—it’s about creating a distraction from Ethiopia’s internal chaos, civil wars, and instability in Amhara, Oromia, and beyond.
