I am so shocked by the ignorance of basic law I have seen in the comments for this case today. To briefly explain: 1) staff (including official employees of this company and outsourced or temporary employees) and security members do NOT have law enforcement authority. 2) Taking personal belongings, including a mobile phone, without consent from owner is equivalent to robbery. 3) The victim's counter-attack while the attack is ongoing is considered self-defense. It is very interesting that all the clips posted by Thai fans (this is a description of the reality I saw) just showed a "kick" on the staff. While this level of “kick” does not exceed the bounds of reasonable self-defense. Conversely, restricting personal freedom, slamming, choking, and excessive force (several staffs, both men and women vs a female around 20)—and people still say these are justified? Indeed, some positions have certain responsibilities and also so-called "power", but should you encourage "abuse" when it serves your own interests?

i know this company knows exactly what the crisis is, who has the big problem. It is not an issue of manner or common practice, it is a legal issue. that is why the lawyers run OT on Sunday.

Btw, as an entertainment company, trying to solve problem by “inciting confrontation” to get out from their responsibility of providing clear guidance and rules of onsite events, well done. And the “artist manager”, the “high-profile and unrestrained speech” is a good and professional example to show “Company Values” 🙂

First of all, this is far more than just a fandom dispute.
This is a serious and vicious social incident.

Let me reiterate: this is a severe violent incident.

A Chinese student visiting Thailand was accused of queue-jumping. For this alone, she was dragged out of the line, assaulted, had her phone snatched, dragged to the entrance for public humiliation, and attacked with extremely dangerous, potentially fatal combat techniques including takedowns and neck restraints.

Worse still, local fans on site cheered and celebrated the violence.

Scenes like this echo eras from decades ago marked by rampant anti-Chinese sentiment, in nations that once enforced systematic anti-Chinese policies.

Furthermore, it is widely acknowledged that the conduct of frontline staff often mirrors the attitude of upper management — especially in Thailand, a society with rigid hierarchical norms.

One cannot help but question what training and social environment allowed security and venue staff to collectively, without hesitation, openly use violence against a young Chinese woman. It also exposes the hostile atmosphere that drove onlookers to cheer for such brutality.

Even if she had cut the queue, event staff have no right to resort to physical force, dragging or public humiliation. This demonstrates a blatant disregard for fundamental human rights.

Tourism forms one of Thailand’s key economic pillars. It is deeply disturbing that Chinese visitors, a vital demographic for Thai tourism, cannot feel safe while travelling here.

What makes this even more horrifying: no bystanders stepped in to stop the attack; instead, they cheered it on.

Shockingly, after news reached China, many dismissed the incident as mere fandom drama, debated whether the victim “deserved it”, attempted to suppress discussions, and even sided with the perpetrators. This is a failure of basic human decency.

Once again: this is not a fandom conflict. It is a vicious violent incident in which a Chinese tourist’s personal safety was violently threatened in Thailand.

It was a really long filming day. Our entire team, including director P'X, was pretty worried because it was our last filming day and we still had a lot of scenes left to shoot. But in the end, everything worked out.
🐼: I think our team is really good at hiding filming locations because I don't think the viewers have any idea where we actually filmed.
It was at Railway Park. We were filming right in the middle of a public park with ppl actually jogging around us at 4 p.m.
