Saw #Supergirl and I just wanna say, if Gunn decided to put out a movie that's just Clark and Kara coming to terms with and reforging their relationship with each other I would probably see it about forty six times in theaters
I saw “Supergirl” in IMAX. It wasn’t a “superhero movie” about saving the Earth through self-sacrifice as “justice” confronts “evil.” It was a coming-of-age story about saving oneself, Kara, as she struggles with her own trauma. Structurally, it feels less like “Mad Max: Fury Road” (2015), where everyone is driven purely by survival instinct beyond notions of good and evil, and more like The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966), where heroes, villains, and scoundrels all converge.
Still thinking about the fact that they tried to force Michael to lose his virginity by LOCKING HIM IN A ROOM WITH PROSTITUTES. 😠 He didn’t cave. I respect him so much for standing firm in his values. 🥺🤍
the fact that ppl cant recognize tim even when his design is almost line for line accurate is just more evidence that DC takes everything from him and gives it to others when it comes to dcau
however chill or not chill I seem now, I was way way more strict as a kid. I was in kindergarten avoiding kids who said “libary” because I thought they were incurably stupid
