@andyward48@kingsbury_ollie@fightingsailor I did read it but that wasn't the point you made. Your point was that we shouldn't be in a rush to promote people of colour & women in case they were the wrong people but had no problem with whether or not the white men we'd already promoted were the best people for their jobs 🤷♂️
@andyward48@kingsbury_ollie@fightingsailor What makes you think that a) the people who've been promoted because they've had the advantage of being white and male are the appropriate people; and b) why do you think women or people of colour would be inappropriate to promote? Surely we should be looking for the best people?
@bowman_adam@pinstripedline @simonwantstofly Is it reasonable to suppose that the term "dickhead" applies to both those people who are dickheads and those who aren't? Presumably, people who consider themselves not to be dickheads shouldn't get offended when people refer to them in that way because it's meant generically 🤔
@JSHeappey With @RAF_Luton getting this sort of coverage, I think the Navy and Army parody accounts need to up their game. Come on, buck up @HMS_Massive and @ArmyCGS
😂😂
Here we go - now it really does feel like April again!
RAF Luton doesn’t exist but *as it says in their profile* they’re a great parody account. So all the people tweeting this as proof of all sorts of Government malevolence might just need to chill a little.
@farra521 @AndyNetherwood @wavellroom Calling out inappropriate behaviour, for example sexist trolling, and supporting others who do so is not bullying. Go and take a hard look in the mirror.
(I assume this is the incident you are referring to?)
