At Kintetsu's Yamato-Yagi Station, the Osaka Line runs above the Kashihara Line in a right angle. In Japanese such a station is called 立体交差駅 I think.
In German we use the term "Turmbahnhof" (tower station) for such a station, but is there a similar name in English?

「Station Melodies of Greater Tokyo」は、首都圏の鉄道駅で流れる発車メロディを地図上で聴けるようにしたプロジェクト。

駅をクリックすると、その駅やホームで使われているメロディを再生できる。山手線のような都心部の駅から、郊外の駅まで、普段は数秒で流れ去ってしまう音が、ひとつの都市アーカイブとして整理されている。

発車メロディは、もともとブザーやベルに代わるものとして広がっていった。1989年にJR新宿駅・渋谷駅で使われたことを契機に、従来のけたたましい電子音から、よりやわらかなメロディへと置き換わっていく。

やがてそれは、高田馬場の鉄腕アトム、春日部のクレヨンしんちゃんのように、地域の歴史や文化と結びつくご当地メロディにも発展した。

ただ、こうした多様な駅メロは、少しずつ失われつつある。このプロジェクトは、そうした消えゆく音を記録し、地図上に残そうとする試みでもある。駅のホームで数秒だけ流れる音もまた、場所の記憶を形づくる都市のサウンドスケープなのだと思う。

Austria had a protocol in their Accession Treaty which stipulated specific Austrian words that can be used in legal contexts. These were only limited to food and agriculture but no reason we can't stipulate specifically ME words/expressions to cover deviations from BCMS

As Montenegro edges closer to EU membership, a unique linguistic puzzle is drawing attention. Montenegrin is incredibly similar to Croatian (think British and American English), but language politics run deep in the Balkans.
