@LNER But you fail to address the circumstances of my journey which were not taken into account. I found myself on your train without the correct ticket as I was told it would be fine by your employee. There was absolutely no effort to exercise any discretion given the circumstances.

@LNER I was misinformed and penalised for it by a train guard who had absolutely no capacity to listen or empathise with a situation out of my control. Thrown off and charged! Really nasty experience and remember why I rarely travel by train. Please train your staff @LNER
