It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of Coach Jud Keim, who served with care and distinction as co-defensive coordinator for Logger Football.
After a courageous battle with cancer, Coach Keim passed away surrounded by loved ones.
Joining our staff in the Spring of 2025, Keim was a light to the community, and an inspiration to those around him. Known around the Northwest Conference for his fearless energy and passion for Football, “Keim Time” consistently poured into the Loggers during his time at Puget Sound.
Keim was a local legend in Tacoma, graduating from Pacific Lutheran University in ‘86, and coaching for the Lutes from 2004-2023. He also gave back to the community, officiating numerous high school track & field events around the region, and running the “More than Champions” youth football camp in Gig Harbor.
He is survived by his wife Sari and children Kalen, and Jace.
