The landings Deer Creek. (6/10). A milquetoast Fazio. Wide fairways. Confidence builder. Hard to separate the awful architecture of the homes on this course from the course itself (which is actually pretty good) and conditioning is awesome and staff is amazing.
@ajlamesa@GovKemp I have friends from out of state come to conferences in downtown Atlanta and cannot understand why I’d choose to live here. I have to explain that all of Atlanta isn’t like that, I make them come back and stay with me to show them.
@KelseaBondATL Won’t this affect poor people worse? Or will you be able to pick buildings that are owned by wealthy people? Will this apply to residential as well?
Review on the keep. Overall pretty unbelievable view but I’ve just decided I’m not a high end resort course guy. Would much rather just pay the guest fees at my buddies’ private clubs. Conditioning was not at the level for a $400 round - slow greens and rough tee boxes.
Thanks to @BuckThrockmort for having me on to write a guest post on a vital, under-discussed topic. Fun time putting these thoughts on paper.
This is a topic where conditions are forming to where opportunity is ripe. DM me if you want to discuss further.

@HamptonPrezcott Can you seriously blame the northern counties for not wanting Marta?? It has so much potential but is absolutely wasted. Says a lot when people would rather just sit in hours of traffic than ride those trains.
@HamptonPrezcott When I first moved to Atlanta, I tried using MARTA multiple times. From homeless people yelling at passengers and large groups of teenagers in full shiestys, it was hard to justify. You can cite crime stats all day, but if riders don’t feel safe, they’re not going to ride,
@HamptonPrezcott David Plazas wrote a ridiculous AJC piece last year about how safe MARTA is. My question: has he actually ridden it lately? Did you see that?
@BowTied_Golfer House across the street from Ansley in Atlanta has a hidden speakeasy in it with a hidden staircase. It served as the clubs bar during prohibition.
