@WTFIII @jaysage222 @flatearthzone But the moon does spin. It rotates on its axis once every ~27 days. It just so happens that because of the tidal lock, the spin around its axis happens to sync nicely with its orbit around the earth, keeping the same face pointed towards the earth.
