@jackwalsh10 Agree they are of a terrible standard in Meath, but the disrespect they get is shocking. Its catch 22, we need more refs to drive the standard up but who would want to pick up a whistle after seeing the abuse they get?

Never forget the All Ireland run of 2004, I was 8 and during games the auld buck used to pretend he was on the phone to John Maughan on the sideline telling him who to bring on and low and behold such a player would come on and I really believed Dad was making those calls 😂💚❤️
