@catsareblessing Our cat Honey who my wife & I got when we got married 27yrs ago. Lived 16yrs til she got sick. Vet could do nothing. I laid on the floor w/ her. She would meow when I'd start to doze off and stop petting. At some point I fell asleep & woke up w/ her still beside me but gone.

@depressionlesss That is SO TRUE. We lost our cats of 15& 14 yrs old 6 yrs ago the oldest we got as a kitten &was my shadow.
5 years ago we got 2 kittens. Sibs.
1 is like a magnet. I got cancer same year. Everytime I get sick he never leaves my side. NEVER
Prison guards don't watch u that close.
