Enough is enough – if the Swedes can do it, why the hell can't we?

From 12 July, Sweden is slamming the brakes on the immigration free-for-all. Only temporary residence permits will be issued to asylum seekers and certain other immigrant groups. No more automatic path to permanent settlement.

This follows the Swedish parliament passing the government's bill on Tuesday. Temporary permits were already the standard there – now they're making it official policy by scrapping permanent residence permits entirely for these categories. Anyone who already holds a permanent one is unaffected, but the door is shutting for the new arrivals.

Why can Sweden face reality and tighten things up, but we keep rolling out the red carpet with no end in sight?

This isn't complicated. Countries that actually want to survive are starting to say "no more." Temporary protection means what it says: you're here while the emergency lasts, not for a lifetime of benefits and chain migration. Enough with the endless influx that's straining housing, services, and social cohesion to breaking point.

Time to stop pretending open borders are sustainable. If Sweden can do it, the rest of us have zero excuses left. Enough is enough.

Under article 61 of Magna Carta 1215 (the founding document of our Constitution) we have a right to enter into lawful rebellion if we feel we are being governed unjustly. Contrary to common belief our Sovereign and her government are only there to govern us and not to rule us and this must be done within the constraint of our Common Law and the freedoms asserted to us by such Law, nothing can become law in this country if it falls outside of this simple constraint. Article 61 shows quite clearly who really holds the power in this country, that being quite simply us the people; we have Sovereignty not any Parliament and nor can this be taken from us by any Parliament who claim to have taken the people's Sovereignty.

This is how we solve our political woes and take our country back.

Only we can save ourselves.
