👗 | Witches In Word, Not Deed – created as part of Carolyn Sutton’s MFA in Heritage and Exhibition Design at #EdNapier - remembers 13 women accused of witchcraft through the creation of personalised dresses.
The dresses feature the words that defined and sealed the fate of women accused of witchcraft in Scotland. The words have been meticulously researched from archives across the country.
The exhibition is also a memorial that hopes to foster debate and conversation around the power of words and the gendered nature of the witch trials.
Witches In Word, Not Deed will be on display at @edcentrallib until 30 November.

Another astounding piece of work from @Maclean_Rachel
And fantastic activity from @jupiterartland
Proud to have had a small input into the learning activity.
