every tuesday i'm going to try to post a "prompt"! something simple to spark discussion of headcanons and/or show analysis!

Tom has the biggest fattest Christmas tree, the plan is to drink wine, eat a lot and go to bed at a reasonable hour, and Greg’s plan is to follow Tom’s plan
they have a beautiful warm domestic christmas eve together at greg's apartment where they drink, snuggle and exchange gifts; the following morning tom and shiv host the Roy Family Christmas for the first time and its the most stressful event of the year.
merry #tomgregtuesday and a haaappy new yeaar
what are tom and greg doing this christmas; are they seeing family? what are they getting for each other? what holiday movies are they watching? etc.
slams more mashed potatoes on his plate and whispers like "where's MY thank you, Greg??" and Greg is like "...thanks? I really didn't want any-" and Tom remains fussy over the idea of his uke having eyes for another the rest of the night (the Kellmans don't even think abt them).
And then Tom threatens to tell Gerri that Greg is trying to steal her husband and Greg doesn't really know what to do bc he didn't do anything and Gerri is pretty scary, then when they're back at the table Tom insists on being the one to pass everything to Greg and aggressively
And he's like "uhh Tom?? He didn't touch my hand he was just-" "don't bullshit me, you looked at him like a common minx! Do you want to suck his big old floppy d*ck, Greg? Is that what you want?" and Greg is baffled and wonders why Tom is thinking abt his godfather in law's d*ck
anything bc he's already afraid of Baird bc he doesn't think he's good enough for Shiv. He takes Greg aside first chance he gets and is like "did you like that, GREGORY? Did you ENJOY the subtle brush of Mr. Kellman's big geriatric hands against yours as he passed you your SLOP?"
I like to think about, at the Roy family thanksgiving, Baird cutting the turkey and serving everyone, and Greg, who isn't used to big men being kind to him, is like "oh (hair tuck)...why thank you, Mr Kellman...blessed uhh blessings to you haha" and Tom is like ???? but can't say
Maybe the first time he cooked for Greg he was so impressed, because Greg can’t cook an egg, and his reaction inspired Tom to go back to the kitchen more often
Exclusive circles he noticed they don’t really see the need to learn even as a hobby, so to fit in he stopped cooking. Probably the first time he cooked for Shiv she thought it was cute but as they got official she was like honey you don’t actually have to do this. +
Tom is a great cook I’ll die on this hill, it just makes so much sense to me. But I think he learned it to impress people and later found out he rather enjoys it. He always liked to eat well so he would make meals for himself when he had time, but after reaching the more +
