Jock Landale suffered a nasty nasal fracture in the first half of the Hawks opener against Orlando. He played through to finish with 10 points in an impactful effort. The mask is going to be a fixture for a while. It's not surprising for Jock but a really tough effort.

Having watched her play in person multiple times this year, this is hard to argue. Amazing instincts on both ends. Gifted with a long athletic body, the skills of a guard and a toughness beyond her years. Excited to see her continue to grow and take on the world.

Madi Ryan is the best female hooper that Australia has produced, since Lauren Jackson. Generational talent. I truly believe that she is the best 17 year old in the world.

Cannot believe this was 20 years ago! One of the greatest live sports moments I’ve experienced. Shea stadium was absolutely rocking after that catch. I can still remember feeling the stands literally bouncing.

Pacers coming in at number 7 after a gap year. I’m happy with that.

Also, so good to have @ZachLowe_NBA back writing. He was a big influence for me when I started writing back in the @Downtownball days.

Just awful news. This was to be his comeback year.

By waiving Haywood Highsmith, the Phoenix Suns will drop to $7.9M under their second-apron hard cap.

Phoenix is also keeping Duop Reath by converting him to a two-way contract. That will necessitate a waiver of one of the team's current two-way players.

[Shams Charania @ShamsCharania]

The Philadelphia 76ers are signing 7-foot-6 center Tacko Fall to a two-way NBA contract, sources tell ESPN. Fall enters his fourth NBA season after the 76ers convert his exhibit 10 deal.

You can see by the way he handles the ball, makes reads off screens and looks to attack without fear, that Luke Paul is going to be incredible in the not-too-distant future. And he’s going to have some moments this season. #NBL27
