I decided to open a Ko-Fi but…

I’ve been a gamer since I was 4. My dad needed a PC for his new job, and I asked the technician to install some games for me. That’s how I started emulating NES and SNES games on a Windows XP computer.

The last major upgrade to my setup came during my second year of college. Thanks to my parents, I got a gaming laptop. Back then, I didn’t realize I’d end up constantly plugged into a charger… but all good things come to an end.

Lately, my laptop has been giving me a lot of trouble: a sticky keyboard, random restarts, keys that press themselves, and, more recently, I started streaming. My overlays are very simple because my laptop struggles to stream and run games at the same time.

I think it’s finally time for an upgrade. I’m graduating this year and looking for a job, but I also want to keep streaming and finally play GTA VI on PC when it releases.

So, I decided to open a Ko-fi and try to reach my goal. I thought about using Throne, but Ko-fi felt like the better option thanks to its lower fees and greater transparency.

I don’t want to just ask for money without giving anything back. As a thank you to everyone who supports my new setup, I’ll be holding a raffle for everyone who donates.

You’ll have the chance to win ONE of the following:

• The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Switch 2, physical or digital, your choice)

• Grand Theft Auto VI (physical edition, rumored for December 2026)

If you don’t want either game, I’ll happily send you the equivalent value through PayPal or Throne instead.

Every donation of $5 USD or more toward my Ko-fi goal counts as one entry. To keep things fair, entries are capped at 5 per person. If you’d like to support with more than that, it’s incredibly appreciated and will help me reach my goal even faster.

I’ll be sharing progress updates throughout the journey, and once I reach my goal, I’ll show you the new setup. Full transparency all the way.

I’ll also share the raffle date, how the winner will be selected, and announce the winner publicly so everything stays transparent.
