@aentan @DanielZirkel @julianhosp 3/ Microsoft invented the first smartphones but usability and market timing was bad. So only a few years later Apple took the right approach and the rest is history and market share today. I think DFI is not yet there where it needs to be to get what it takes to become popular
@aentan @DanielZirkel @julianhosp 2/ Being involved from an early stage and as former continuous buyer, I also lost a lot of money (6 figures in my case is lots of money) by being a DFI Hodler. From an investor POV that was stupid and told me a life lesson. I personally wouldn’t talk anyone anymore into DFI..
@DanielZirkel If "let them just run and hodl" means, putting more and more collateral into the vault to stabilize the price drop, OR reduce the LM shares, then YES. But I would prefer a DUSD of $1 again. Sometime in this decade.
@defichain „if the vault does not fulfill the 50% DFI requirements, users will not be able to create a new loan or withdraw any amount from existing loans“ 2 questions: 1) they don‘t get liquidated if the dfi req is <50% right? 2) The withdrawal restriction was also there before right?
