We are so happy to see that the character designs are getting such a good reception! For the first time since DC1, Robert and I were in charge of both creating the concepts and designing the characters ourselves! It took a lot of time and work, especially because it was something we hadn't done in years, but we finally got to a result we really liked.
I'll also have been writing this season myself! My last scripts were for the first half of DC3, and after that I've mostly been directing the writing rather than writing the episodes myself. This is a new era for Disventure Camp in so many different ways, most of the proofreading team is made up of people I haven't worked with before, and I've been having a blast working with them. I can't wait for you to see what we're cooking!
For DC4 and DC5, Robert and I have mostly been directing. We've left part of the show in the hands of people we trust, and they've done an amazing job, spoiler, the upcoming DC5 episodes are AWESOME!
But I can't lie, only directing the show made us feel more detached from it and, in a way, a little further away from the series itself. DC6 has been all about falling in love with the show again and becoming more involved in the creative process. And so far, that goal is absolutely being accomplished. We haven't been this excited about Disventure Camp in a long time, and we're happy that we're still able to work alongside so many talented people across different departments!
Disventure Camp 6: Brains vs Brawn vs Beauty is coming in early 2027! A NEW era of #DisventureCamp begins as 15 new players enter the unforgiving Warrakai Outback, where theyโll be divided by the trait they identify with most in their real lives ๐ฅ
NEW location, NEW host, NEW twists, NEW challenges, NEW changes to the game! ๐๏ธ
And after 14 intense episodes, only ONE player will be left standingโฆ and walk away with TWO MILLION DOLLARS! ๐
